RTRS New Releases

Embed urls into observation questions
At RTRS, we are constantly striving to enhance our platform to better serve our clients’ needs. With that commitment in mind, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of two groundbreaking features: the ability to embed website URLs directly into Observation Questions and a new user role, Recipient, as well as significant enhancements to our Company News module..
Embed urls into Observation Questions

This innovative feature represents a significant advancement in how our clients can utilize the Observation module within our platform. Companies now have the capability to seamlessly integrate external website links into their custom observation questions, opening up a world of possibilities for enhanced training, compliance, and knowledge dissemination.

To provide you with a preview of this exciting new functionality, we’ve prepared two quick demonstration videos showcasing different scenarios:
  • Embedding a Website Link into an Observation Question: In this example, we demonstrate how easy it is to incorporate a relevant website link, such as an OSHA resource, directly into an observation question. Watch the video here.
  • Connecting a Question to a File or Policies Folder: This video illustrates how you can link a question to a specific file, such as a corporate safety plan stored in your file cabinet within our platform. View the demonstration here.
  • Companies can also provide video links to questions to help them better understand specific questions with step by step guides.
These videos offer a glimpse into the seamless integration of external resources within our Observation module, empowering our clients to enrich their observation questions with relevant and dynamic content.

The introduction of embedded website URLs brings forth a myriad of benefits for our users:
  • Enhanced Learning Experience: By linking directly to external resources, such as regulatory guidelines, instructional videos, or best practices articles, users can access valuable information to supplement their understanding and training.
  • Improved Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by effortlessly integrating relevant resources directly into observation questions, facilitating quick access to critical information.
  • Streamlined Knowledge Sharing: Enable seamless dissemination of knowledge across your organization by embedding links to internal documents, policies, or training materials, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Increased Engagement: Incorporating multimedia content within observation questions enhances user engagement and interaction, making the learning process more immersive and effective.

New User Role and Enhancements to Company News Module

Companies now have the option to assign the Recipient role to certain users, providing them with a unique set of functionalities tailored to their needs.
  • Email Notifications for Company News: Users assigned the Recipient role will receive email notifications when Company News is sent out. This ensures that important updates and announcements are effectively communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Limited Access: Recipients will not have access to the client or mobile application. Instead, they will solely receive Company News via email, making this role ideal for users who do not require full access to the platform but still need to stay informed.
  • Simplified Onboarding: Recipients will not receive an email to set up their password when created, either individually or through bulk upload. This streamlines the onboarding process and ensures a hassle-free experience for users.
Enhancements to Company News Module

In addition to the introduction of the Recipient role, we’ve made significant enhancements to our Company News module to further improve communication and engagement:
  • Expanded Notification Options: Starting next week, all users assigned to a project will receive email notifications when Company News is sent, in addition to the notifications available within the mobile application. This ensures that important updates are promptly delivered to all relevant users, regardless of their preferred communication channel.
What’s Next?

Looking ahead, we have exciting plans to further enhance the Company News module. In the coming month, clients can expect to see an updated Company News page on the website, along with new features that enable targeted text message communication to specific locations and roles within each project. We will keep you informed as these changes are rolled out.
